A 19-year-old Henryetta man turned himself in to authorities Wednesday in connection with the theft of 17 calves and 13 cows in Okmulgee County.

Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association special agent Bart Perrier says an investigation into the thefts began in the fall of 2014.  He says that investigation revealed Kiley Johnson with the help of others stole livestock from five victims and sold them at livestock markets in Okmulgee, Checotah, Bristow and Hugo.

Johnson was arrested on warrants charging him with eight counts of larceny of livestock and booked into the Okmulgee County jail.

Perrier says their investigation continues and has led to two additional victims in two other counties over the past six months.

"Additional charges against Johnson and his accomplices are pending at this time and more charges and arrests are expected," said Perrier.

Court records show Kiley Johnson's bond is $200,000 with a court appearance set for July 30.
