A convenience store owner, victimized by four robberies in the past year, says he hopes Oklahoma City police will catch the person responsible for the latest holdup.

Ibrahim Fashafsha owns Basic Foods at 2701 S. Shields and has owned it for three years.

Surveillance cameras recorded a man walk in the convenience store Monday night and pistol whip one of Fashafsha’s clerks, before running away with an unknown amount of cash.

Fashafsha says he doesn’t know if Monday's robber committed any of the earlier robberies, but he does know police need to get him off the streets.

“I hope the cops will catch that guy so he won’t be in the street, try to kill someone over the dollars because the human being life is more important than money,” he said.
