A boundary sinking south into northern Oklahoma will keep a slight chance of storms in that part of the state Wednesday evening.

Skies become partly cloudy for the rest of us with overnight lows in the low 70s. There is a slight chance of isolated showers in the metro overnight.

Several waves of energy will ride along a stalled boundary over central Oklahoma the next couple of days. This will send storm chances our way Thursday through the weekend. Some of these storms could become severe Thursday and Friday with the potential for large hail and damaging wind, especially in the afternoon and evenings.

Temperatures will cool off to around 90 by Friday and the upper 80s on Saturday.
