Hazy, Hot, Humid Monday Across Oklahoma

Storms have developed in an unsettled pattern we call northwest flow. This is where the jet stream goes from Canada south into the Mississippi Valley.

This pattern can bring storms and more chances will be possible this week.

Today will be hazy, hot and humid. The heat index will climb close to 100 today as well as Tuesday and Wednesday.

The 4th of July weekend will have an even better chance of storms. The best chances begin Friday and will continue into the 4th on Saturday. We will break down the time line as we get closer to the holiday.
