The NBA Draft is less than two weeks away and the Thunder own the No. 14 pick thanks to an injury-riddled nightmare of a season. Every day until Draft day, we'll be counting down the top 18 prospects that the Thunder should target. We'll analyze two players a day until Draft night on June 25.

It is important to note that only realistic players will be included in this list. Therefore, you won't be reading about Jahlil Okafor or Justise Winslow or Kristaps Porzingis because there's no way those guys slip down to 14.

To read about prospects 18-7, click the links below. Now that you know the rules, let's get started.

Thunder Draft Prospects: Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Rashad Vaughn

Thunder Draft Prospects: R.J. Hunter, Delon Wright

Thunder Draft Prospects: Trey Lyles, Myles Turner

Thunder Draft Prospects: Kevon Looney, Sam Dekker

Thunder Draft Prospects: Montrezl Harrell, Tyus Jones

Thunder Draft Prospects: Kelly Oubre Jr., Jerian Grant

6. Justin Anderson – SG/SF – Virginia

Strengths

Anderson has NBA role player written all over him. He's a traditional 3-and-D guy; someone who can space the floor and shoot at one end and defend well at the other. At 6-foot-6 with a 7-foot wingspan, Anderson has the length and strength to defend multiple positions. Offensively, he shot 45 percent from downtown last season.

Weaknesses

Other than his ability to shoot, Anderson is very limited offensively. He could score off the dribble a bit in college, but he doesn't handle the ball well enough to do it at the next level. Because of this, Anderson's ceiling is pretty much set.

NBA player comparison

Danny Green, Matt Barnes

How he'd fit the Thunder

Anderson, who played three seasons in the ACC, is another NBA-ready guy in this draft. He's a high-IQ player who can shoot and defend well enough to earn minutes right away. If Oklahoma City elects to let Kyle Singler walk and/or deal away Steve Novak, Anderson could step right into their roles. Keep in mind that Anderson's ceiling will likely drop his stock into the late teens or 20s. If the Thunder trades down, he would be a great selection, but don't look for him to come off of the board at 14.

5. Stanley Johnson – SF – Arizona

Strengths

Johnson is a big, physical wing who likes to bludgeon his way to the basket. He's 6-foot-6 with a 7-foot wingspan and at just 19 years old, he welcomes contact. Johnson shot it well during his freshman season at 45 percent and was decent from deep at 37 percent. He also rebounded well for his position, grabbing 6.5 boards in just 28 minutes per game. His size, strength, and natural abilities have a lot of teams dreaming of a two-way All Star.

Weaknesses

Johnson isn't the fastest or most athletic guy, but he plays like he wants to be. He loves to go to the basket and force up bad shots, something that ended poorly for him more often than not. This “eyes are bigger than stomach” mentality caused him to shoot just 38 percent at the rim last season against NCAA Tournament-level opponents, via DraftExpress.

NBA player comparison

Jeff Green, Luol Deng

How he'd fit the Thunder

Johnson's ability to finish in the paint should only improve with age as he gains muscle and loses fat. But he's probably at least a year away from making a consistent NBA impact. If this guy slips to 14, which is unlikely, OKC should pounce on him. He's a perfect project for an organization that can afford to take a chance. In other words, even if Johnson is a bust, OKC will be OK.

Check back tomorrow for prospects 4-3.
