OKC Police Officer Involved In Traffic Accident

An Oklahoma City police officer was involved in a traffic accident Sunday night in northeast Oklahoma City, police reported.

The accident happened at Lottie Avenue and NE 23.

The officer and the driver of the other vehicle were both taken to a hospital, but their injuries are not expected to be serious, police said.

Police are investigating what happened and how the accident occurred.
