The NBA Draft is less than two weeks away and the Thunder own the No. 14 pick thanks to an injury-riddled nightmare of a season. Every day until Draft day, we'll be counting down the top 18 prospects that the Thunder should target. We'll analyze two players a day until Draft night on June 25.

It is important to note that only realistic players will be included in this list. Therefore, you won't be reading about Jahlil Okafor or Justise Winslow or Kristaps Porzingis because there's no way those guys slip down to 14.

To read about prospects 18-11, click the links below. Now that you know the rules, let's get started.

Thunder Draft Prospects: Kevon Looney, Sam Dekker

Thunder Draft Prospects: Trey Lyles, Myles Turner

Thunder Draft Prospects: R.J. Hunter, Delon Wright

Thunder Draft Prospects: Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Rashad Vaughn

10. Montrezl Harrell – PF – Louisville

Strengths

Harrell plays the way that you want your kid to play. He's big, he's tough, he plays hard and he wants it more than anyone else on the court. Harrell averaged 16 points on 57 percent shooting last season at Louisville as he displayed an improved offensive arsenal. But for the most part, he's a guy you draft to set the tone. He's a terrific rebounder thanks to his 7-foot-4 wingspan and the fact that he plays like his shorts are on fire. It's doubtful that he'll be a star, but even more doubtful that he'll be a bust.

Weaknesses

Despite his improvements, his skill level appears to have a ceiling. He'll likely never be a 15-point a night type of guy, but he is talented enough to average in the 8-12 point range as a reserve role player. Harrell staying in school for three years will also cost him some real estate in the first round.

NBA player comparison

Kenneth Faried, Tyler Hansbrough

How he'd fit the Thunder

Harrell would immediately challenge Steven Adams as the strongest post player on the roster. He isn't gifted enough to be a superstar, but he's one of the surest bets in this draft. Whichever team drafts him will get a ferocious rebounder who doesn't know how to not play hard. He could be a 10-year role player in Oklahoma City.

9. Tyus Jones – PG – Duke

Strengths

Jones played beyond his years as a freshman at Duke last season. Jones averaged 12 points and six assists per game, and bailed out teammate Jahlil Okafor after his underwhelming performance in the National Championship game. Jones is very quick and possesses excellent handles. He also sees the floor well and can wreak havoc by breaking down a defense off the dribble. In addition, Jones is a high-IQ guy who plays big in big-time games.

Weaknesses

For all of his skill, Jones is physically limited. He's not all that athletic and needs to gain a lot of weight before he can expect to compete defensively at the NBA level.

NBA player comparison

Luke Ridnour, Ish Smith (with a better jumper)

How he'd fit the Thunder

If the Thunder elects to keep a third point guard, Jones will be the guy. Even if he spends year one in the D-League, D.J. Augustin's deal has just one remaining season and Jones would be in position to compete for that backup spot.
