Sheriff: Yukon Man Confesses To Sexually Victimizing Multiple Children

The Canadian County Sheriff's Office said deputies arrested a Yukon man on Monday who admitted to victimizing young children.

The arrest of Cornan J. Price, 42, was sparked by CCSO learning he'd unlawfully touched an underage girl's breast, butt and genitals on a neighborhood walk last summer.

CCSO said the investigation began toward the end of May. During the investigation, CCSO said the girl's parents told investigators they were just now reporting the alleged assault because they had only recently learned about it themselves through a counselor.

Investigators said Price confessed to the fondling that had occurred last summer and a separate incident with the same girl, where he'd forced her to touch his genitals, according to CCSO. Price also reportedly admitted to being attracted to young children and had victimized others, including another girl.

Price told investigators he forced that girl, who was 11 years old, into a closet at church where he committed lewd acts upon her. He also said he crawled into an underage girl's bed and “forced her to make out with him” roughly five years ago, CCSO's report stated.

Price was living with his wife and her two kids at the time of his arrest, CCSO said. The two children were removed from the home by the Oklahoma Department of Human Services two days prior to his arrest.

Investigators said they believe his crimes “went undetected for so long because it was never reported to authorities, and he was merely sent to counseling in an attempt to correct his behavior.”

Price was booked into the Canadian County Jail on two counts of Lewd Acts on a Child Under the Age of Sixteen, and additional charges are likely to follow, CCSO said. He remains in custody with bond established at $100,000.
