Moisture has been in abundance here lately with plenty more on the way. Showers and storms are possible again Tuesday evening and overnight with better chances to our south and east.

The big story is all about Tropical Storm Bill. Bill has made landfall on the southeast coast of Texas and is projected to move into Oklahoma on Wednesday. This will spell heavy rains that will lead to flash flooding in the central, southern and eastern parts of the state.

Many hometowns could see between 3 to 5 inches with locally higher amounts of rain by the time the storm moves out.

With plenty of turning in the atmosphere, brief tornadoes will also be possible, especially the eastern half of the metro Wednesday evening. It's important to stay weather aware over the next couple of days.
