OKLAHOMA CITY -

A man accused of kidnapping, threatening and raping a woman was taken off the streets. He's no stranger to law enforcement and someone he knows helped get him caught. Chad Miller has been in jail since Sunday afternoon.

Police said the arrest was thanks to a tip from a person who recognized him after they posted his picture on social media.

The details of the report are pretty graphic, but it is what happened to one Oklahoma City woman after she went outside to get something out of her car. Police said the 25-year-old "was leaning in the driver's side door and was turning the overhead light on" when all of a sudden a man pushed her inside, and with a twelve-inch knife in his hand told her to “scoot over.”

Miller left his bike behind and was soon forcing the woman's legs down on the gas as he steered and told her, "You better listen, or I'm gonna ******* kill you." The report stated he raped the woman twice before they ended up at a gas station where the woman was able to alert a clerk to what was happening.

Police showed up, but Miller disappeared. However, detectives were able to get surveillance pictures of him from the store. They posted the pictures on their Facebook page, and sure enough, someone recognized Miller and identified him to police. They tracked him down and took him into custody.

News 9 did a little digging on Miller and found his tattooed mug shot has a place on the Department of Corrections website for the past decade since he was 21 years old.

Miller has five Assault and Battery and Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon charges, and one of those is on a police officer.

Soon Miller will most likely have more charges added to the list. As of Monday night, he was in the Oklahoma County Jail.
