Two Earthquakes Recorded In Pawnee County

An earthquake shook residents near Pawnee, Okla., in Pawnee County Friday evening.

Two earthquakes shook residents near Pawnee, Okla., in Pawnee County Friday evening.

The first, a 3.8 magnitude quake, struck at approximately 5:42 p.m. Its epicenter was located six miles east southeast of Pawnee, 24 miles east northeast of Stillwater, and 34 miles west northwest of Sand Springs.

The second, a 3.3 magnitude quake, struck at approximately 6:20 p.m. Its epicenter was located in the same area.

No injuries or damages associated with either earthquake have been reported.
