Nine More Oklahoma Counties Approved For FEMA Storm Assistance

Governor Mary Fallin announced Tuesday the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) approved public assistance for nine more Oklahoma counties impacted by storms and heavy flooding.

 Governor Mary Fallin announced Tuesday the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) approved public assistance for nine more Oklahoma counties impacted by storms and heavy flooding.

The counties approved Tuesday for infrastructure damage include Canadian, Carter, Choctaw, Coal, LeFlore, Love, Murray, Okmulgee and Pottawatomie.

At last report, 25 counties have been approved in all by FEMA for public assistance. Thirteen counties have been approved by FEMA for individual assistance.

Atoka, Bryan, Canadian, Carter, Choctaw, Cleveland, Coal, Cotton, Grady, Haskell, Hughes, Johnston, Latimer, Le Flore, Love, McClain, Murray, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Pittsburg, Pontotoc, Pottawatomie, Seminole, Stephens and Tillman

Individual Assistance:

Atoka, Bryan, Comanche, Cleveland, Grady, Johnston, Kiowa, Le Flore, McClain, McCurtain, Oklahoma, Pittsburg and Pottawatomie

Fallin encouraged individuals or business owners impacted by the May 5 and June 4 storms to report those damages to FEMA by calling (800) 621-FEMA.
