OKLAHOMA CITY -

It was a busy night for firefighters after a business near S.E. 29th and Byers in Oklahoma City, suddenly filled with smoke.

Fire crews were at another fire on S.E. 50th Street, about two miles away when they spotted smoke coming from Brooks Grease Services.

Firefighters used a chain saw to break open the gate. Once crews got into the lot, they got into the warehouse. The company pumps and disposes grease waste and recycles used cooking oil. Two of the three tanks inside the warehouse heated up to 200 degrees and caused smoke to build.

There was no fire, but had firefighters not arrived when they did, it could have been much worse.

As for the fire on S.E. 50th Street, the Fire Chief told us that fire appears suspicious. They were called to that same home two days ago for another fire.

There are also no utilities to that home, so that's why they call it suspicious in nature.
