The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported an earthquake near Perry Monday evening.
The 4.1 magnitude earthquake was reported at 8:26 p.m. 13 miles west of Perry and 20 miles east, southeast of Enid. The depth was more than three miles.
There are no reports of major injury or damage at this time.
According to the USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
