The heat and humidity will continue this afternoon. Look for partly cloudy skies with highs again above average in the upper 80s and low 90s.
A weak cool front will stall out in southeast OK today. This could give us enough lift to spark a few thunderstorms this afternoon. Any storm that develops today could produce quarter size hail and winds to 65 mph. Rain chances are slight today and storms will be very isolated in nature.
Highs will remain above average most of the week, and we will care slight rain chances for parts of the state nearly every day. Heavier rain and higher rain chances creep back into the forecast late in the week into the weekend.
