One Shot In NW OKC, Police Searching For Gunman

Police are on the lookout for a shooting suspect after a woman was shot at a northwest Oklahoma City apartment complex, Sunday night.

Police have confirmed with News 9 that a female gunshot victim was discovered at the Hefner Hollow apartments, located in the 6700 block of Lyrewood Ln., near Northwest Expressway and W. Wilshire Blvd.

Originally police reported finding two gunshot victims.

Police say they are looking for the shooter, but have not released a description at this time.

According to police, the victim was transported from the scene by ambulance to a local hospital. Neither the identity of the victim nor the severity of her injuries is known at this time.
