Your 2 Cents: Oklahoma Tops Trigger-Happy Police List

I'm worn out with all of the cop bashing lately, and think the increase in police killings is primarily the result of a more violent and brazen criminal element.

Here's what you had to say:

Mabel, “The media is to blame for the police bashing, If the media would use their influence for more positive outlook the public's view would change of the police."

But Amy in Shawnee said, “I'm really tired of excuses for behavior that we would not accept from the general population being made for law enforcement."

Sheriff Jerry Niles wrote from Enid, “My officers face dangers on a daily basis, those are not reported, the weapons found, the fights, the pursuits."

Enough with the media making them out to be the bad guys."

Andrew, “I see a long history of good cops out there. Most of the ones that have been on the force for a decade or so are doing good. However, the problem seems to be with the overzealous cops in their 20s."
