Searchers are using a drone to help look for two missing Okmulgee men last seen at Rocklahoma in Pryor last month.

They sent the drone over flooded parts of Wagoner County in hopes of finding a clue to how and where the men disappeared.

The drone lets them see spots they normally couldn't and is just one of the tools the family is using to help search for the two boys.

Cody Parrick's father, David, said he and the family are relying on the kindness of strangers and that they'll never give up.

"That's all I have at this point. I can't give up hope," he said.

It's week two in the search for 20-year-old Cody and his best friend 20-year-old Ben Baber; the two went to Rocklahoma Friday, May 22nd and never made it home.

Ever since, law enforcement agencies from three different counties and the state have searched between the Rocklahoma grounds, near Pryor, to Okmulgee, the boys' hometown.

This week, a major part of the search is in the hands of Jimmy Harmon, a drone videographer from Arkansas, who's donating his time and service to the search for Cody and Ben.

"This is an absolute first for the drone, so, hopefully, we can, unfortunately, find something," he said.

Harmon's not the only one offering to help. As the search continued through Wednesday afternoon, several people stopped to offer their talents, like retired OHP trooper and pilot, Dan Howard.

"With the bright sunlight we might be able to catch it when it's right overhead here in an hour or two, and we might be able to see something," he said.

David Parrick is grateful for all the help.

"Every day, every day, and I've come across different people, and everybody's been so nice and helpful. It really means a lot to our family," he said.

David and his wife Julie have left their jobs and home in Texas to look for Cody and Ben.

“If your kids just gone for a little while you get so worried, but when they're gone this long, I don't know what to do, where to turn. We can't eat, we can't sleep, we just, we want them back," he said. "I'll never give up."

The two were last seen in a silver Pontiac minivan with the Muscogee Creek Nation tag B8E23.
