A Good Samaritan comes to a family's aid early Wednesday after they crashed on U.S. Highway 412 in Rogers County.

It happened in the westbound lanes near 4130 Road just before 1 a.m.

Officials said the driver, Angela Stephens, 32, may have fallen asleep at the wheel, causing her to strike a culvert and crash into a creek.

Someone heading east saw them and stopped to help pull them out and call for help.

Stephens was admitted to a Tulsa hospital with minor injuries while Jonathon Fowler, 23, and two minors were treated and released, a collision report says.

The investigating trooper said all occupants were wearing seat belts.
