Police Investigate Homicide After Body Found In SE OKC

According to police, at about 6:45 a.m., officers responded to the report of a woman's body found in the roadway in the 800 block of S.E. 20th Street, between Philips and Laird. Police are investigating a homicide after a body was found in southeast Oklahoma City, Tuesday morning.

According to police, at about 6:45 a.m., officers responded to the report of a woman's body found in the roadway in the 800 block of S.E. 20th Street, between Philips and Laird.

Initially, police thought it was a pedestrian accident. But once they got to the scene, officers discovered that the woman's injuries were consistent with homicide. 

Police have not identified the woman at this time.
