Police ID Juveniles Caught On Moore Car Wash Security Cameras

Police have identified the two teens appearing in surveillance video at a Moore car wash over the weekend.

Authorities said the two suspects are juveniles from out-of-town.

According to detectives, one of the kids is from Eufala and was staying with his grandmother, who lives in the metro area. She recognized him on television and called police. Moore police spokesperson Sgt. Jeremy Lewis said she identified both kids in the video. Her grandson is expected to return to Moore for an interview with police on Tuesday.

Sgt. Lewis said the suspect's grandmother has contacted the Okie Express Auto Wash to try and arrange repair payments. Police said prosecution will be up to the car wash owners.

As for the other teen involved, police said he has already admitted to the crime in an interview Monday.
