Police Investigate Homicide After Man Shot To Death In SW OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY -

Police are now investigating a homicide after a man was found shot to death in southwest Oklahoma City, early Monday morning.

According to police, at about 1:45 a.m., officers responded to the report of a disturbance with shots fired at La Chamba Bar, located at 221 S.W. 24th. When officers arrived, they found the victim, now identified as 33-year-old Juan Barajas, lying in the middle of the street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No suspect information is available at this time.

There were a number of people at this location when the shooting occurred, and police said they believe some may have witnessed what took place. If you have information on this case, call the Homicide Tip Line (405)-297-1200.

This is Oklahoma City's 27th homicide of 2015, according to police.
