Driver In Critical Condition After Crash In Norman

 Authorities in Norman said a driver was taken to OU Medical Center in critical condition after a crash that shut down Cedar Lane Road between 120th and 132nd Friday evening.

At 6:15 p.m., Norman police said emergency crews responded to the scene of the crash on the 13000 bock of E. Cedar Lane Road. Investigators said a 1997 Ford Explorer heading east on Cedar Lane traveled left of center and off the roadway. No other vehicles were involved in the accident, according to law enforcement.

Police identified the driver as Desire Davidson Queen of Newalla, Okla. There were no updates on her condition as of Saturday afternoon.

Cedar Lane Road was re-opened after 11 p.m. Friday. The collision is still under investigation.
