Rain, Storm Chances Stick Around In Oklahoma

Posted: Updated:
OKLAHOMA CITY -

Our unsettled weather pattern is still holding strong. Showers and storms have been taking place in parts of central Oklahoma with slow moving rain bringing more flooding. The risk for severe weather is higher Wednesday evening and into the night in the panhandle and far western Oklahoma.

Some of these storms may reach the OKC metro late Wednesday night, but will likely be a lot weaker with brief gusty wind, small hail and unwanted rain possible.

Thursday will be pretty similar to today with a dry afternoon and a chance of storms in the evening. These storms have a low chance of becoming severe. Better chances will stay to our west. High temperatures will be just as warm in the low to mid 80s.
