Storms Could Bring Hail, More Flooding,Tornadoes To Parts Of Oklahoma

Showers and storms over north central Texas and southwest Oklahoma will push east to northeast over the next several hours.

Showers and storms over north central Texas and southwest Oklahoma will push east to northeast over the next several hours. There is enough instability and other dynamics today so that these storms will become severe.

We have a moderate threat of seeing severe storms in central and southern Oklahoma this afternoon. The threats right now include tennis ball size hail, 70 mph winds, flash flooding and a few tornadoes.

A Tornado Warning has been issued for western Bryan County until 3 p.m. 

A Tornado Watch has been issued for parts of central, southern and southwestern Oklahoma until 6 p.m.. These storms should be in the metro between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
