Saturday Storms Cause Power Outages In Oklahoma

 OG &E reported that Saturday storms left over a thousand people without power in Oklahoma.

Around 5:00 a.m. Saturday, the OG&E power outage count was over 1,300 customers, with 1,100 being in the Ardmore area.

But as of 8:00 a.m. Sunday morning, most of the power had been restored. There are still 208 customers without power, 155 in Wewoka, and 53 in Sasakwa.

OG&E officials said the outage was caused by lightning.
