Conference To Feature Republican Hopefuls

Republican presidential hopefuls will be in Oklahoma City this week with the goal of wooing donors and voters.

The Southern Republican Leadership Conference will be held Thursday to Saturday at the Cox Convention Center, 1 Myriad Gardens, and the Downtown Oklahoma City Renaissance Convention Center Hotel, 10 N Broadway Ave.

The conference will feature the largest regional presidential straw poll and 50 speakers, break-out sessions with energy, utility and manufacturing opinion leaders and 75 partnering organizations, according to event's website.

U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) will be speaking during the “Energizing America Gala” at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Cox Convention Center. Tickets for the gala are not included in the general conference fee.
