Police have issued a Silver Alert for a Norman woman.

Authorities say 91-year-old Marguerite Morton was last spoken to just after 2 p.m. on Tuesday. They say Morton had a doctor's appointment at 3 p.m. but never arrived.

Police say Morton does not have dementia but is forgetful. They are more concerned that she may have ventured out while the rain storms were really heavy in her area. She would have been traveling from her home in the area of Berry Rd. and W. Lindsey St. to her doctor's office near 24th Ave. SW and Lindsey St.

Morton is a white female, approximately 5' 7” tall and weighing 140 pounds. She has gray hair and blue eyes. She drives a white 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis with Oklahoma license plate 357-KJA.

The vehicle's passenger side mirror is damaged and taped back on. There is also a large dent to the trunk of the vehicle.

If you have any information regarding her whereabouts, please call Norman Police at (405) 321-1444 or dial 911 for emergency assistance.
