Oklahoma nearly made the selection committee look smart for giving the Sooners just the No. 11 seed for the NCAA tournament. Down 5-4 entering the final frame, the Sooners needed a little magic to avoid a loss to Texas A&M.

Erin Miller provided the magic, hitting a two-run walkoff home run to cap a three-run inning and give the Sooners a stunning 7-5 win over the Aggies.

The Sooners will play in Sunday's regional championship game at 2:30 p.m. The opponent will be determined by the remaining games on Saturday.

In the bottom of the seventh, No. 9 hitter Nicole Pendley started the rally with a walk in the team's first at-bat against relief pitcher Katie Marks. After Lauren Chamberlain flied out to right, Shelby Pendley singled to center field and Aggies center fielder Erica Russell attempted to throw out Nicole Pendley at third base, but the ball went into the OU dugout to grant Nicole Pendley home plate with the tying run.

After a strikeout from OU starting pitcher Paige Parker, Miller stepped to the plate with Shelby Pendley on second base. On an 0-1 pitch, Miller turned on the ball and hooked it just inside the right field foul pole to give OU the walkoff win. It was her eighth home run of the year.

Chamberlain hit a solo home run in the second inning, extending her NCAA career home run record to 92. It has her 20th of the year, and she finished 2-4 with two runs scored.

Parker battled her way to the win, improving to 26-5 on the season, but wasn't nearly as dominant as she was on Friday against Central Arkansas. She allowed five runs on seven hits and three walks with three strikeouts. All five runs were scored in the first three innings as Parker held the Aggies to no runs and just two hits over the final four innings.
