Storms that are firing in northwest Texas Thursday evening will push northeast overnight bringing Oklahoma's next chance for rain.
The metro will see rain a few hours after midnight. Temperatures will fall to the 60s overnight.
Mostly cloudy skies are expected during the day Friday. Daytime highs will be warm again in the upper 70s. Additional showers and storms will develop in western OK Friday evening and push across the state late tomorrow night and into Saturday morning.
Things still need to be worked out for Saturday but right now we still have the potential to see storms Saturday afternoon and evening. If we can get these storms to redevelop after our morning round, they could become severe with large hail, damaging wind, and isolated tornadoes. Stay weather aware.
