Victim In Critical Condition After Being Hit By Vehicle In SE OKC

Oklahoma City police are investigating after several people reported seeing someone lying in the middle of a busy intersection early Thursday morning.

Witnesses describe the scene as disturbing before police arrived. It happened just after midnight near S.E. 44th and Bryant.

Oklahoma City police said someone hit the victim with a vehicle and then sped away from the area. When police arrived, they found the person lying in the middle of the road.

Police said the victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. We're working to get an update on how that victim is doing right now.
