Oklahoma City fire crews spent early Tuesday morning battling flames at two different locations.

At about 1 a.m., a police officer notified firefighters of a house fire on S.W. 20th Street, just east of Agnew. When they got to the scene, they learned it was an empty home.

The fire chief told News 9 that none of the firefighters were injured and they were able to knock down the fire quickly. Once the sun comes up, they'll try to determine the cause of the fire.

About 30 minutes before that fire on the southwest side, the department was asked to head to Spencer to help firefighters there on a fire on Harris Street near N.E. 63rd and Anderson.

That house was actually under construction, so whatever was up now needs to be rebuilt.

As with the first fire, no firefighters were hurt. Fire investigators are still trying to figure out what caused both fires.
