Calm Start To Week Leads To Storms Firing Up Heading Into Weekend In Oklahoma

Enjoy these next couple of days because the weather is expected to become active later this week.

Skies stay mostly clear and overnight lows drop to around 50 degrees. Open up the windows and give the AC a break again.

Sunshine returns on Tuesday with pleasant afternoon highs in the low 70s. Clouds increase late Tuesday night.

Our next wave of rain pushes in from our southwest Wednesday, bringing widespread showers and a few thunderstorms. Severe weather is not expected midweek. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect throughout the day Wednesday.

Storms ramp up and bring the potential for severe weather Friday and Saturday.
