OG&E's System Watch reported 12,404 customers were without power Friday evening around 7 p.m.

More than 2,900 of those customers in the dark were in Oklahoma City and more than 7,000 were in Norman. Other outages were reported in El Reno, Muskogee, and Healdton, Okla.

Before Friday's storms, only 1,000 were without power from the May 6 storm. As a result, OG&E reported the estimate time of restoration for those affected by the May 6 storm is 2 p.m. Saturday, May 9.
