Tuesday morning, we've learned sixth graders across the state will be given the option to retake their state reading test.

Apparently there was an issue with some of those exams. This isn't a problem with the test itself, like in years past. But, there was a lot of confusion for students.

Schools said there was an error in the instructions for the test, making it unclear that students were supposed to continue to the next section of the test.

Districts said the confusion may have led to some students submitting incomplete tests.

Many districts are allowing parents to call to schedule a retest. This retake follows one at a Tulsa Elementary where two teachers are accused of violating strict rules on how testing is handled and test questions and answers protected.

Computer errors led to interruptions in state testing in 2013 and 2014. State Superintendent Joy Hofmeister said a recent survey of 10,000 parents showed testing to be their number one concern about Oklahoma education.
