Emergency Crews Respond To Crash Involving Police Officer In SE OKC

First responders are on the scene of a crash involving a police cruiser in southeast Oklahoma City on Thursday.

Emergency crews were called out to the scene in the 11000 block of SE 29th St. around 1:30 p.m.

Authorities tell News 9 that the crash involved a Choctaw police officer and a pickup. The officer was transported to a local hospital as a precaution. The other driver was not transported. 

Police have shutdown SE 29th St. between S. Westminster and S. Anderson Rd. while crews work the scene.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
