Police Investigate After Three People Found Stabbed In Norman

Police are investigating after three people were found stabbed in Norman, Oklahoma, Thursday morning.

According to Norman police, at about 6 a.m., officers responded to the report of a disturbance at the townhouses near 24th Ave SE and Beaumont. They found a woman walking northbound on 24th. She appeared to have been stabbed.

The woman told officers that her ex-boyfriend had entered her apartment and began attacking her and a male roommate with a knife and/or a screwdriver.

All three suffered injuries and have been taken to the OU Medical Center for treatment. Preliminary information indicates that the suspect's injuries may have been self-inflicted.

Investigators are making application for a search warrant in order to process the crime scene, and they are currently withholding the names of the parties involved pending notification of family members, police said.
