Firefighters Battle Large House Fire South Of Yukon

Crews were called out to battle a large house fire in a rural area just south of Yukon.

Firefighters were called out to the home located at 13201 Fiddler Rd., near the intersection of NW 10 St. and State Highway 92, just before 6 p.m. Once on scene crews reported seeing heavy smoke and flames shooting from the roof of the home.

Fire crews were able to get a handle on the fire shortly before 6:30 p.m.

After an investigation, authorities said the fire started in the kitchen. No injuries were reported.
