The Oklahoma County District Attorney's office declines to file charges against two counselors for allegedly failing to report the threat of a mass casualty event at Edmond North High School.

Edmond Police presented charges to the DA last week recommending two employees of Edmond Family Counseling be charged with obstructing an officer.

Police claimed they failed to cooperate with the investigation into a 16-year-old student's threats to kill himself, students, and staff at Edmond North High School in March.

First Assistant District Attorney Scott Rowland said after reviewing the case presented to the district attorney's office they have decided not to criminally charges the counselors.

News9's phone calls to the counselors were not returned in time for this report.
