The Oklahoma City Dodgers and Omaha Storm Chasers split a day doubleheader at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark Tuesday with Omaha winning the first game, 3-2, and Oklahoma City winning the second game, 3-1.

All five runs scored in the first game came on solo home runs, including the eventual game winner in the fifth inning by Omaha's Francisco Pena in front of a crowd of 9,553. In the second game, Oklahoma City scored three unanswered runs in the third inning for the win.

The league-leading Dodgers (15-5) won the four-game series between the teams, 3-1. The four-game series win was Oklahoma City's first against the Storm Chasers since a sweep July 16-19, 2012.

Game one started after a 26-minute delay due to rain, and Omaha got on the scoreboard in the second inning with the first home runs of the day.

Matt Fields and Lane Adams hit back-to-back solo homers to left field with two outs in the top of the second inning for a 2-0 Omaha advantage.

Oklahoma City outfielder Scott Schebler connected on his fourth homer of the season, which landed in the Storm Chasers' bullpen in right field in the bottom of the frame, to cut Omaha's lead to 2-1.

Chris Heisey belted his team-leading sixth home run of the season in the fourth inning for Oklahoma City. His solo shot to left field tied up the game, 2-2.

Pena then broke the tie in the fifth with the final homer of the game – on a line drive to left field – to give Omaha a 3-2 lead.

Starting pitcher Aaron Brooks (1-2) earned the win for Omaha, allowing two runs and four hits over 5.0 innings. He issued one walk and struck out seven. Louis Coleman recorded his first save of the season for the Storm Chasers.

Dodgers starting pitcher Zach Lee (3-1) suffered his first loss of the season. He allowed three runs and seven hits over 6.0 innings. He issued one walk and struck out six Omaha batters.

In the second game, Omaha (10-9) took the first lead for the fourth time in the series.

Omaha grabbed a 1-0 edge in the second inning on a sacrifice fly from Adams. The run was the first allowed by Dodgers pitcher Mike Bolsinger with Oklahoma City this season.

The Dodgers plated all three of their runs in the third inning. Oklahoma City drew back-to-back walks. Buck Britton hit a ground ball to first baseman Whit Merrifield. Omaha pitcher Christian Binford bobbled the toss from Merrifield and was charged with an error, allowing the Dodgers to tie the game, 1-1.

Kyle Jensen singled to load the bases for Chris Heisey, who hit a sacrifice fly to score Elliot Johnson and take a 2-1 lead.

With the bases loaded again later in the inning, Matt Carson drew a bases-loaded walk to put the Dodgers in front, 3-1.

Oklahoma City pitcher Steve Smith earned his first win of the season, pitching three scoreless innings and holding Omaha to one hit.

David Aardsma picked up his sixth save of the season for Oklahoma City, tossing a scoreless and hitless seventh inning.

Binford was charged with the loss for the Storm Chasers and fell to 0-3 on the season.

Oklahoma City is now 2-2 in doubleheaders this season after also splitting a doubleheader in Iowa April 20.

The Dodgers have Wednesday off before opening a four-game road series against the Iowa Cubs at 6:38 p.m. Thursday at Principal Park.
