That man's was identified as Allen Rouse of Wichita, Kansas.

The FBI has now taken the lead in the investigation into the fiery and fatal crash being investigated as a suspected suicide.

A temporary barrier is now up in place of the damage gate that was removed.

Security at the National Weather Center was tight Friday, scrutinizing over every person coming in to the building.

Employees inside posted what they saw and heard on social media, on Thursday.

One researcher shared a picture and wrote "The "unsafe condition" on the E side of the NWC #fire". That picture has now been shared thousands of times.

While the man's identity was released investigators remain tight lipped about the next big question, why.

The Norman Police's bomb squad used a robot to search the man's car and detonated a device found inside Rouse's car.

It's still unclear if a bomb was ever found.

Despite the increased security work and classes at the National Weather Center resumed as schedule.
