Hield Returning For Senior Season

Oklahoma guard Buddy Hield will return for his senior year he announced at the Lloyd Noble Center on Friday morning.

Hield had a career season in 2014-15 averaging 17.4 points and 5.4 rebounds on his way to winning the Big 12 Player of the Year award and being named third-team All-American. He led the Sooners to a Sweet 16 appearance where the season ended against Michigan State.

Hield's decision is a big one as Lon Kruger lost sophomore shooting guard Frank Booker to transfer. The Sooners will return 4-of-5 starters from a team that went 24-11.
