It's a little chilly out the door Monday morning. Most of the state is reporting upper 30s and 40s temperatures with light, northerly winds under partly cloudy skies.

Later today will be mild and mostly sunny with an afternoon high near 68 degrees. The UV index is an eight, which is considered high and you can get a sunburn in about 30 minutes outdoors.

Rain is not expected today but we will increase the chance for rain and thunderstorms overnight.

It might be raining Tuesday at drive time as well, so keep the umbrella in the house tonight for your journey to work. Cool tonight, cool tomorrow, but we will warm up this week.

Storm chances are in place for several days this week.
