Scattered showers and storms will continue to lift in from Texas Friday afternoon. A few storms producing small hail and some lightning as well. Clouds and rain from the morning may limit severe storms in central and southern Oklahoma.

Friday evening there will be a threat for severe storms in western and northwestern Oklahoma. Any storms that develop out west could become severe with large hail and damaging winds as the main threats. Storms that form out west will try to make it to central Oklahoma and the Oklahoma City metro overnight. They should weaken, but still could produce some hail and gusty winds.

As this slow-moving upper level low moves to the east, we could see additional severe storms on Saturday, but the chances will be very dependent on Friday's rain placement.
