No. 5 Oklahoma (36-6, 9-1) saw its 12-game winning streak come to an end Thursday as Baylor (31-9, 6-1) run-ruled the Sooners, 8-0, in six innings at Marita Hynes Field.

OU tied a season low with two hits in the loss, both coming on singles from Erin Miller and Georgia Casey.

Paige Parker took the loss to fall to 18-4 on the year as she gave up four runs on six hits in 5.0 innings. She struck out three with no walks.

Baylor's Heather Stearns had nine strikeouts and gave up just the two hits with zero walks to improve to 14-6. The Lady Bears used a three-run third inning and four-run sixth, plus a solo homer in the fifth, to hand the Sooners their second run-rule loss, and second shutout, of the season.
