Oklahoma City police said they are searching for several suspects who pulled off two smash and grab burglaries overnight.

The crimes are more like "crash and grabs" because in both cases, the criminals plowed a car into the building to get inside.

Oklahoma City police said these two crimes are connected.

Both involved four male suspects and some incredible surveillance video.

The video, provided to News 9 by Sooner State Pawn Shop, showed four suspects use a vehicle as a battering ram to blast through the business on N.W. 23rd Street and Utah.

The crash, the rifling through merchandise and the running away with stolen stuff all happened in less than 35 seconds.

The owners could not believe what had happened.

“Sheer panic. Wake up at four in the morning to just the worst news possible,” said co-owner Todd Horton.

The car engine was still running when police arrived they said the car was stolen.

“The entire front of the store was gone and there was a car sitting in the sales floor,” Horton explained.

The video showed one person in the car and three other men waiting outside the store for the crash.

The owners told News 9 the guns were locked up, but police said the thieves still managed to get away with some firearms and electronics.

“Definitely thought it was a smash and grab as soon as we saw the car in here, it was just aimed too perfectly,” Horton told News 9.

Sooner State Pawn owners hope to be back open soon, once they repair the $50,000 in damage.

“Received a lot of emails and phone calls from people concerned about us and wanting to come out and volunteer their time, help us with clean up,” Horton added.

Horton said none of the customers' pawned items were stolen, only merchandise that was store-owned.

Oklahoma City police said the same crooks did the same thing to Gunworx in the 9200 block of Council an hour earlier than the Sooner State Pawn burglary.

The Gunworx crash caused a gas leak.

Owner Bobby Ausborn said the thieves stole about $1,500 worth of guns and accessories.

The suspects had hoods on and were wearing gloves, so there are no fingerprints.
