The Canadian County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) arrested a 17-year-old boy accused of trying to kidnap girls from a rural bus stop.

Friday morning, CCSO said a rattled caller told dispatchers that his sisters were running toward the house screaming that a man had tried to lure them into his van.

Authorities said they caught up to the driver at Gregory and Foreman Road, where he'd reportedly rolled his window down and asked a 14-year-old and a 9-year-old if they wanted a ride.

After being taken to the sheriff's office, authorities said “he collaborated statements from both girls that he had driven by the bus stop numerous occasions during the week, slowing down to stare at them.” He also reportedly told investigators he had fantasized about the two and would have had sex with either of them if they'd gotten in his vehicle.

The minor faces two counts of Attempted Kidnapping and remained in custody at the Canadian County Juvenile Detention Center with no established bond.
