USGS: 4.3 Magnitude Earthquake Reported Near Logan County

An earthquake was recorded near Guthrie, Okla, in Logan County, Wednesday afternoon.

The 4.3 quake struck at approximately 3:52 p.m.

Its epicenter was located just two miles south of Guthrie, 14 miles north northeast of Edmond, and 27 miles north of Oklahoma City at a depth of over two miles.

There have been no reports of damage or injuries associated with this earthquake at this time.

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely with quakes at magnitudes 4.0 and higher.
