Guthrie Haz-Mat Team Asked To Respond To I-40 Crash In Custer County

A Guthrie hazmat team was called out to the scene after two semis crashed on Interstate 40 in Custer County late Tuesday night.

The accident happened just before midnight on the westbound lanes of I-40 near mile marker 69 in between Clinton and Weatherford. 

Traffic was diverted off I-40 at mile marker 77 to the old 66 North highway into Clinton where drivers could re-enter I-40 west. 

Troopers say only minor injuries were reported in the accident.

OHP, ODOT, Custer County Sheriff's Office all worked the scene.
