Semi, Car Collide In Fiery Crash On I-35 In NE OKC

OHP troopers are still investigating what caused a crash between a semi truck and a car. And because of that investigation the northbound lanes and the on ramp of I-35 and Northeast 36th Street is closed and will likely be closed for much of the morning drive.

The crash happened just after 2 a.m. Wednesday morning when a semi and car collided and the semi caught fire.

OHP tells us the drivers of both the semi and the car escaped this with only minor injuries.

Emergency crews said the lane closure is likely to stretch into the morning rush hours.
